We encourage you to get started by completing our free Menlo College Transfer Application to fast-track your admissions decision. You are also welcome to apply using the Common Application.
Transfer applicants must submit college transcripts from any institutions attended. Transcripts may be submitted via email, electronic transcript service like Parchment, or sent by mail. Applicants who have not completed at least 12 transferable academic semester credit hours (18 quarter credits) must also submit high school transcripts.
We welcome unofficial transcripts for preliminary assessment, but will require official copies if you are admitted (official transcripts may only be submitted via electronic transcript service or sent by mail).
Menlo College has developed articulation agreements with many California community colleges. Students do not need to complete all courses listed before transferring to Menlo College; however, the articulation agreements will help you to select courses that meet Menlo’s general education requirements. Students may transfer a maximum of 70 lower division semester credits (105 quarter credits) and 24 upper division semester credits (36 quarter credits). However, students must complete a minimum of 30 units in their major at Menlo College, and must be enrolled at Menlo College during the last two semesters prior to graduation.
Menlo will accept transfer credit from the Spring 2020 term for CR or P grades.
Menlo College evaluates credit from several sources, including Advanced Placement Exams, International Baccalaureate Exams (higher level only), CLEP, and military education and experience.
