Menlo College held its annual Academic Success Celebration on October 29 to honor students from the incoming class who received 3.25 GPA or above on their midterms and students who are on the Spring 2012 Dean’s List.  Recent graduate, Mike Liguori ’11, founder of the Operation Work Warriors, was a special guest that night presenting his new book, The Sandbox: Stories of Human Spirit and War.

“We want to celebrate our student’s success,” said Yasmin Lambie-Simpson, Dean of Student Affairs, “And we want to encourage them to continue on this path.”

The event featured two student speakers: senior Ululani Reyes and junior Robert Gehre.  They talked about their experiences at Menlo and how the college has helped them to evolve and become more successful.
