CalCPA Women’s Leadership Forum Inspires Students Web Master | July 11, 2011 M’pike Emmanuelle Djouka, Jeff Philip Graby, Jessica Therese Atthowe, Professor Donna Little, Sidra Iqbal, and Tania Sandoval attended the Calcpa Women’s Leadership Forum In Marina Del Rey, California on June 10, 2011. The trip was sponsored by Menlo Accounting Club, with support from Calcpa. “The 2011 CalCPA Women's Leadership Forum in Los Angeles, was an extraordinary opportunity for our students to hear from experts in long-term business forecasting, networking, executive coaching, philanthropy, business management and financial literacy,” said Donna Little, Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance.“Students met many women in the field of accounting, from emerging professionals to seasoned managers. We appreciate the support of Menlo College, the Menlo Accounting Club, the Menlo Accounting Advisory Board and CalCPA Silicon Valley Chapter, in providing this wonderful experience.” Jessica Atthowe ’12 and Tania Sandoval ’12 who both attended the Forum said, “We liked that the conference was geared toward empowering women in the workplace. We are excited to use the information we learned.” Professor Little hopes to make the Forum an annual event for her students.
