Menlo College held a reception yesterday to honor students who will complete the requirements for their undergraduate degrees in December 2011. Faculty, staff, and family members gathered in President Kelly’s home to honor the soon-to-be graduates, who still have a week of finals ahead of them.

“This is the event that marks the completion of one step in students’ journey,” said Yasmin Lambie-Simpson, Dean of Student Affairs. “We have this moment so that community can acknowledge completion of their academic pursuit and celebrate it.”

Out of 29 December graduates, 24 will earn a Bachelor of Science in Management, and 5 will receive a Bachelor of Arts. Twenty percent of the graduating class are international students, which is much higher than the national average.
