The Professional Studies Program is truly accelerated. You may be able to complete your degree in 20-24 months. This will depend upon how many units you are able to transfer and your course load each term.
You can start in January or May or September.
The accelerated course format is 8 weeks for 4 hours a night (6-10 PM).
You can earn a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. You also have a choice of four concentrations: International Management, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, or Marketing Management.
With an average class of less than 20, your voice, your concerns, and issues relevant to your work environment are heard and addressed.
PSP students enter as a cohort or learning group. As a member of a cohort, you will take a majority of your degree courses together. A cohort promotes a sense of community and support among PSP students.
All bachelor degree programs require prerequisite and general education courses. We have transfer agreements with most community colleges so that it is easy to find out what will transfer. Coursework outside the prerequisite and general education listing may be counted as elective units. Missing prerequisite courses may be taken concurrently with the core program at Menlo College or at local community colleges. Call us for a free evaluation. 650-543-3757
You will need to have a professional evaluation of your units.
We can assess units earned from an accredited college or university if you bring in a copy of your transcripts or fax a copy to our office at 650-543-4003.
You can transfer a maximum of 70 lower division and 24 upper division units. You should have close to 40 transferable units before applying.
You can apply online or call us for a hard copy of the application at 650-543-3936. Additionally, you will need to submit a resume, brief personal statement and official transcripts from all prior colleges and universities attended. For assistance, contact jwoolever@menlo.edu.
The Professional Studies Program is affordable. There are several ways most students are able to fund their education. The government wants you to attend school and they make it easy to qualify and obtain loans. These loans have low interest rates, generous repayment terms, and are backed by the federal government. Financial Aid begins by completing a FAFSA online.
You may also have an employer that offers tuition reimbursement. Consult your Human Resources representative for further information.
We also have a modest scholarship program and resources to find other institutional scholarships.
