Our mission is to enhance individual and community well-being by raising awareness of the psychological, social, cultural, and biological factors that influence human growth and development. We envision a program where students examine human behavior from both interpersonal and intrapersonal perspectives, engaging in small classes that foster personal and academic growth.
Menlo College’s Psychology program offers a robust undergraduate education with a general curriculum and a focus on contemporary issues such as identity, intercultural relationships, and gender. Our curriculum is built on four foundational pillars: biological influences on behavior, psychopathology, personality differences, and developmental change across the lifespan.
