The Professional Sales and Business Development minor provides students with skills necessary for success in a sales career and building mutually beneficial professional relationships. The ability to sell and negotiate is the ability to effectively communicate the value of an idea, product, or service and to create win-win situations. Many high-level executives and organization leaders started as salespeople and rose to the top of their professions by effectively using sales skills. The Professional Sales and Business Development minor degree is open to students of all majors. We offer theory, frameworks, and tools to help students develop and enhance customer relationships and meet needs by creating, communicating, and delivering value.
