Position Summary
Menlo College is seeking individuals with a passion for mentoring and motivating students to support its Intensive Math Lab program.
Candidates selected for the position of Intensive Math Lab Tutor will work with students enrolled in Menlo’s required math course, Math 110 (Finite Math) and Math 111 (Algebra Support for Finite Math) to improve their understanding of course content, support them as they complete class assignments, and guide them through additional practice as needed. Tutors also provide mentorship and guidance, introducing students to the academic resources available to support their educational development, in order to establish long-term habits of engagement that will pave the way for students to thrive in their later academic careers.
Intensive Math Lab sessions are currently being held primarily in person, on location at our Atherton campus; some remote hours are possible.
