Hailing from coastal North Carolina, LaShonda Kennedy combines a background in corporate human resources and project management with a passion for education and community engagement. After transitioning her expertise in Lean facilitation and project management to public-school and community college systems, she spearheaded the creation and implementation of the Work Experience Education program at College of San Mateo, where she served as the lead instructor. In this role, she assisted students in securing internships and provided guidance to help them integrate academic learning with real-world experiences.
