Harsh serves as the Chief Audit Executive with ACERA. Previously, he worked in various tax and management capacities, including positions with Internal Revenue Service, Deloitte & Touche, Ernst & Young, Intel, and American Express. He is licensed as a CPA, CTRC, CTRS, CISA, CITP, CRISC, CGMA, CRMA, CFE, CGAP, CISM, CGEIT, and CDSPE. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Diego State University and a Master of Business Administration (Taxation) from California State University, Hayward.
In addition, he teaches as a tax and accounting instructor/adjunct professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and Menlo College and serves as a Board of Director on the Once Circle Foundation Board (Non-Profit). He is also active with the CALCPA and AICPA, and was selected as a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission, Financial Literacy Committee, Government Accounting and Audit Committee, CITP Champions, and the National Accreditation Commission.
