Madeline Holcomb is a Social Psychologist with a focus on self-control, affective science, and how emotions shape decision-making. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from San Francisco State University, where she now teaches courses in Decision Making, Social Psychology, Adolescence, Thesis Writing, and Data Science.
Her work merges psychological theory with practical application, helping students explore and understand how research informs everyday behavior. Madeline prioritizes a student-centered, relational approach to the classroom. She is especially passionate about finding the fun in psychology! Madeline brings hands-on experimentation, thought-provoking replications, and notable research to each of her lectures.
