Biography

Linda Covello was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. A first-generation college student, she received a BFA from UC Santa Cruz and an MFA from Parsons School of Design in New York City. She has enjoyed teaching drawing, painting, design and collage at the Art Institute of Boston, the University of Oregon, Notre Dame De Namur University in Belmont, California and Menlo College for the past six years. Her drawings and paintings have been exhibited at the Bowery Gallery in New York City as well as in one person and group shows in the Bay Area and across the United States. Her artwork is held in private and public collections throughout the United States including the Smithsonian American Drawings Collection in Washington DC.
