We encourage you to get started by completing our free Menlo College Transfer Application to fast-track your admissions decision. You are also welcome to apply using the Common Application.

Transcript(s)

Transfer applicants must submit college transcripts from any institutions attended. Transcripts may be submitted via email, electronic transcript service like Parchment, or sent by mail. Applicants who have not completed at least 12 transferable academic semester credit hours (18 quarter credits) must also submit high school transcripts.

We welcome unofficial transcripts for preliminary assessment, but will require official copies if you are admitted (official transcripts may only be submitted via electronic transcript service or sent by mail).

Articulation Agreements and Transferring Credits

Menlo College has developed articulation agreements with many California community colleges. Students do not need to complete all courses listed before transferring to Menlo College; however, the articulation agreements will help you to select courses that meet Menlo’s general education requirements. Transferring Your Credits

A maximum of 60 lower division semester credits (90 quarter credits) and 18 upper division semester credits (27 quarter credits) may be transferred.

Residency requirements must still be met, see residency requirements below.

  • Residency requirements for BS Business, 41 units must be fulfilled at Menlo College. In the major 15 units lower division, 15 units upper division, 5 units internship, 3-units MGT 400, 3-units ENG 450.
  • Residency requirements for BA, 32 units in the major must be fulfilled at Menlo College, 8 units lower division (4-units MCM 257 + 4 units lower division), 18 units upper division, 3-units PSY 400, 3-units PSY 401.

Credits from Non-Traditional Sources

Menlo College evaluates credit from several sources, including Advanced Placement Exams, International Baccalaureate Exams (higher level only), CLEP, and military education and experience.
