Not a current or incoming student? You can still refer a friend and help them discover all that Menlo has to offer, and be part of connecting more people to the Menlo experience.

A Menlo College degree can lead to an exciting career at companies both in Silicon Valley and nationwide. And with Menlo’s Refer-a-Friend Scholarship, the cost of a degree doesn’t have to stop you or your friend from achieving your goals.

Step 1: Refer Your Friend to Menlo.

Think of someone you know who’s ready to take the next step in their education. Submit this individual’s information to the form above.

Step 2: Your Friend Enrolls at Menlo.

Does your friend find that Menlo College is a great fit for them? Excellent! They can then enroll in one of our programs.

Step 3: You and Your Friend Receive $1,000.

Once your friend enrolls, you will receive a $1,000 scholarship that can be used towards tuition or housing. ​

Menlo Refer-A-Friend Scholarship Criteria

• The referrer must be a current or incoming undergraduate student who will be enrolled in undergraduate studies during the semester the referred student begins their studies.
• The referred student must be new to Menlo College (first-year or transfer), must not have been accepted yet, and must not have a pending financial aid award.
• The referral form must be submitted before the new student commits to attending Menlo College.
• The referred student must begin their studies in spring 2025 or fall 2025.
• Both the referrer and the referred student must remain enrolled through the spring census (February 14, 2025) or fall census for fall 2025 referrals.
• This is a one-time $1,000 scholarship, applicable to tuition or housing, as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
• The scholarship can be combined with other merit-based aid but cannot exceed the Cost of Attendance allowable amounts for aid.
• Students receiving discounted tuition (e.g., GoCampus) or athletic scholarships are not eligible for this scholarship.
• The scholarship cannot generate a refund or be applied toward student fees or insurance costs.
