Financial Aid for Veterans

Menlo College proudly supports veterans and their families through a range of educational benefits, including the Yellow Ribbon Program under Chapter 33 of the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. Eligible students can receive financial support for tuition, housing, and more.

 

VA Education Programs Menlo College is Eligible for:

 

Chapter 30 – Montgomery GI Bill® Active Duty (MGIB)

If you paid $1200 to the program during your active duty, you may be eligible for:

Chapter 31 – Vocational Rehabilitation

Veterans with a service-connected disability rating of 20% or greater (or 10% with a serious employment handicap) may receive:

Military Tuition Assistance Program

This program provides financial support for service members in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force. It covers up to 100% of tuition costs for courses costing $250 or less per semester credit hour, with an annual cap of $4,500. Assistance is available for undergraduate, graduate, and technical programs at accredited institutions. For more details, consult your service branch’s education office or virtual education center to ensure you’re receiving the appropriate support for your educational goals.

 

Pursue AFROTC through Menlo College’s Partnership with San Jose State

Menlo College has a crosstown agreement with San Jose State University Detachment 045, which allows you to be enrolled as a full-time student at Menlo while taking your ROTC classes each week at San Jose State University.
