Employer Tabling

Connect with Menlo College students pursuing careers in business and psychology through our monthly tabling sessions. Offered twice a month at no cost, these sessions are advertised by our team, though student engagement may vary.

Tabling takes place in front of the Dining Hall, a high-traffic area during lunchtime (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM). We will provide a six-foot table and two chairs; you are responsible for bringing your own table covering and signage.

To secure your spot, please complete the Tabling Request form. The Office of Internships & Career Services will follow up with further details.

On-Campus Interviews

Post your positions on Menlo College’s Handshake and schedule interviews with qualified candidates. Please contact our office for additional information and support.

How to Schedule On-Campus Interviews

1. Log in to Handshake
2. Click on Interviews from the left hand navigation bar
3. Click the Request Interview Schedule tab
4. Fill out the Basics, Timeline, and Jobs section on the form
5. Once you have reviewed the details of your OCI, select Request
6. A member of our team will review your request and reach out to you.

FAQs

Q: How long are treks?
A: Treks are normally between 90 minutes to 4 hours. Employers have complete freedom to determine the duration of the trek.

Q: When do treks occur?
A: Treks typically take place on weekdays, providing students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the on-site experience at your company.

Q: What activities are included?
A: Treks may include a company tour, presentations, Q&A panels, networking opportunities, or any other activities that effectively highlight the distinctive organization and culture of your company.

Q: Are treks virtual or in-person?
A: In-person to ensure students get the most out of their experience and see what it’s like to work on-site at various companies.

Q: Are there any fees to host an Industry Trek?
A: Hosting an industry trek incurs no formal program fees. While employers have the option to offer lunch and/or other refreshments, it is not mandatory.

Industry Coffee Chats

Meet students in an informal setting to discuss your industry and organization, and promote current or anticipated opportunities. This event is intended for students to gain insights about a career field and learn about your organization and potential opportunities. Coffee chats are held on select Fridays throughout the academic year between 10:00am-3:00pm.

Please fill out the Employer Engagement Form. The Office of Internships & Career Services will be in touch regarding next steps. Please request your coffee chat at least 2 weeks before your desired date to give our team enough time to promote your event.
