About Menlo College

Menlo College is a small private college located in the heart of Silicon Valley, focused on the practical arts of business and psychology. Share insights about your company and available roles through an information session. Please submit your request via our Employer Engagement Form at least three weeks prior to your preferred date to ensure maximum student participation.

Employer Tabling

Connect with Menlo College students pursuing careers in business and psychology through our monthly tabling sessions. Offered twice a month at no cost, these sessions are advertised by our team, though student engagement may vary.

Tabling takes place in front of the Dining Hall, a high-traffic area during lunchtime (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM). We will provide a six-foot table and two chairs; you are responsible for bringing your own table covering and signage.

To secure your spot, please complete the Tabling Request form. The Office of Internships & Career Services will follow up with further details.

Employer consultations serve as a dedicated opportunity for our career services team to gain insight into your recruitment needs and desired methods of student engagement. Our team will discuss tailored solutions and provide guidance on engaging with our talented pool of students.

Career Connect Day is hosted every year during the spring term. This event provides students with an opportunity to connect with industry professionals by attending various workshops led by employers, faculty, students, and Alumni. The day concludes with a Career Fair, where students have the opportunity to apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills to connect with employers.

Industry treks are hands-on experiences where small groups of students have an opportunity to visit your company, learn about your organization’s culture and values, and discover potential career paths. Students are eager to visit local companies and hear from professionals on-site. This is a sure-fire way to create a positive lasting memory of your company in a student’s mind.

FAQs

Q: How long are treks?
A: Treks are normally between 90 minutes to 4 hours. Employers have complete freedom to determine the duration of the trek.

Q: When do treks occur?
A: Treks typically take place on weekdays, providing students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the on-site experience at your company.

Q: What activities are included?
A: Treks may include a company tour, presentations, Q&A panels, networking opportunities, or any other activities that effectively highlight the distinctive organization and culture of your company.

Q: Are treks virtual or in-person?
A: In-person to ensure students get the most out of their experience and see what it’s like to work on-site at various companies.

Q: Are there any fees to host an Industry Trek?
A: Hosting an industry trek incurs no formal program fees. While employers have the option to offer lunch and/or other refreshments, it is not mandatory.

Industry Coffee Chats

Meet students in an informal setting to discuss your industry and organization, and promote current or anticipated opportunities. This event is intended for students to gain insights about a career field and learn about your organization and potential opportunities. Coffee chats are held on select Fridays throughout the academic year between 10:00am-3:00pm.
