Voting is an essential part of the political process. Every citizen has the privilege of being able to vote, and at Menlo College, we want to make it as easy as possible for every student to register. To register to vote, you can visit the California Secretary of State’s website and fill out a voter registration form.

Students in colleges and universities are considered adults, with privacy and confidentiality protection. College staff cannot talk with parents or guardians about a student’s academic activities. Any student over 18 years old may sign the “FERPA” or Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, if they so choose, granting permission to parents or named others to have such discussions with College staff.
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education.
Generally, schools must have written permission from the student in order to release any information from a student’s education record. We do not share your personal data with any entity outside of Menlo.
We do not and will never sell, rent, or share your name, mailing address, email address or any other data that can personally identify you in any way to any outside group.
