Our President

Steven A. Weiner

Menlo College President Steven A. Weiner obtained his BS from Northeastern University and his MBA from the University of Chicago. Following graduate school, he worked for the University of Chicago for sixteen years, the last eight of which were in the role of Associate Dean and Principal Business Officer at the Pritzker School of Medicine. After Chicago, he spent ten years in the consulting world, first as Vice President & Division Manager for Science Applications International, and then as Vice President for First Consulting Group. He left First Consulting to co-found an open source medical software start-up company, which he sold just prior to his return to higher education at Menlo College in 2013. When he’s not in his home on the Menlo College campus in Atherton, he can be found tending a small vineyard and way too many olive trees on property he owns in Sonoma County.
