Your well-being is our priority. Menlo College offers a range of health and wellness resources to support students, faculty, and staff in staying healthy and thriving during their time on campus.
Domestic students are highly encouraged to have health insurance and be familiar with their coverage in the local area. As of August 1, 2025 Menlo College will no longer offer a health insurance plan for domestic students for the 2025-2026 school year; TimelyCare will remain available to all students, providing telehealth and mental health services.
Student-athletes are required to have health insurance, which will be verified—specific qualifications may apply, so please check with the Athletics Office for details. International students must purchase the school’s health insurance plan, with more information available in May 2025.
Staying healthy is an important part of being successful in college. To help you find medical care when you need it, we have provided the following list of health care resources.
As a Menlo student, you should establish a relationship with an internal medicine physician. Your primary care doctor will be your main point of contact for working with the health care system while you are here at Menlo.

For emergency care, Stanford Hospital, Sequoia Hospital, and Kaiser Permanente Redwood City (Kaiser only) are nearby. Urgent care services are also available at Palo Alto Medical Foundation and Stanford Express Care.
If you have questions regarding your insurance or finding a local physician, we will be happy to assist you. Please call 650-543-3701 or stop by the Office of Student Affairs in the Administration Building.
