INSY 508: Coding for Information Systems

Coding is becoming essential in the information systems field. Python is one of these languages that makes writing code easy with its built-in functionalities; it is used for scientific calculations, data science, data visualizations, and web development, among other things. Basic programming skills are integral for the careers of the future, and this course plans to prepare students with the basic concepts of programming and give them the confidence to write and understand code. This course is designed to teach students the basics of Python programming language so that they can leverage it in their future careers within information systems.
