At Menlo College, the International Student Services (ISS) office is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for our international students. The International Rising Scholars Program is a 10-day residential experience designed for new international students. You’ll engage in collaborative problem-solving, make lasting friendships with fellow students, and sharpen your academic skills—ensuring you’re ready for a successful semester.
Our Intensive English Program offers an immersive language experience for students who need English language training before beginning their business or psychology degree at Menlo.
Menlo College proudly participates in the prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program, which provides fully funded grants for students to conduct research, pursue graduate studies, or teach English abroad. The International Student Services (ISS) office manages Menlo College’s involvement in the program, with Erik Bakke serving as the current Fulbright Program Adviser (FPA). Each academic year, ISS aims to recruit more applicants by actively promoting the full application cycle.
International students enrolled in Menlo College’s Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) program can take advantage of up to 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT), including a 24-month STEM extension. This is a great opportunity to gain professional experience in the U.S. while preparing for leadership roles in Information Systems and Cybersecurity.
