Caroline Casper is an award-winning fiction writer and a university professor with eleven years of experience teaching literature and creative writing in the Bay Area. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of San Francisco—where she earned a creative writing teaching fellowship—and an MA in Journalism. Her writing has been published in numerous journals and recognized by the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, Missouri Review Editor’s Prize, Elizabeth George Foundation, Napa Valley Writers’ Conference, and the Vermont Studio Center. She’s taught literature and writing at the University of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, and Menlo College where she continues to nurture a love of language and storytelling in her students.
Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Caroline now lives in San Francisco with her husband and two daughters.
