Take your time! Choosing the best fit for where you’ll spend the next 4 years is a tall order- this is your time to really think about what your values are, and which place aligns best with what you want your college experience to look like. Look over the school website, schedule an in-person/ virtual tour, connect with an admissions counselor, talk with financial aid! Ask as many questions as needed so that you can make the best, most informed, decision.

As a non-Bay Area native, I love to go to all the various free events that pop up throughout the year in the Bay. I am still in search of a good chai in the area, so I go to various cafes in hopes to find a place. I typically enjoy the coffee and matcha they offer there though- there is a good selection here!
The quad- whether you need to take a minute to yourself, or gather your friends together for a study session or picnic, the quad is where it is at. It’s easy for me to lose track of time sitting on a chair underneath the trees, just taking in the warmth of the sun.
I go to the movie theatres about 3-4 times a week and catch most new movies, even if I didn’t watch the previous installation. I’ll sometimes make a trip to San Francisco just to watch a movie on the massive IMAX screen they have. Outside of that though, I love to crochet, read science fiction, and explore the Bay Area!
