Biography

Ted has served many organizations in multiple industries in a variety of roles that include Principal Data Engineer, Staff Data Warehouse Engineer, and Data/Database Architect for much of his lengthy career. He is well-versed with many of the current cloud platforms and technologies, and has employed many of them on projects such as the development, from the ground up, of an analytics data warehouse for Nickelodeon Games, migration of all analytics from on-prem to the AWS cloud at a healthcare data science start-up, and a custom, object-oriented data pipeline using Python for the migration of on-prem data to the cloud at Salesforce, amongst many other projects. Further, he has been an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco for more than 20 years, and served as the program director within the Master of Science in Information Systems program where he developed curriculum and has taught the topics of the courses that he also practices as a full-time information technology professional. Additionally, Ted teaches courses at Menlo College in the MSIS program there.
