Advice for Prospective Students

Make the most of all the resources available to you—whether at your current school or the colleges you’re applying to. The admissions process can feel overwhelming, and it’s perfectly okay to seek support when you need help navigating it. Be sure to apply early to maximize your chances for financial aid, scholarships, and other program-specific opportunities. Take advantage of both virtual and in-person tours and events designed for prospective or admitted students. These experiences can give you valuable insight into campus life and help you determine whether a school is the right social and academic fit for you.

My Favorite Things to Do in the Surrounding Area

I love spending time outdoors and soaking up the energy of live sporting events. Whether it’s catching a Giants game at Oracle Park, cheering on the 49ers, or watching the Warriors or Valkyries at Chase Center, I’m always up for a trip to San Francisco. I’m also a foodie at heart, always on the lookout for new local restaurants to try and flavors to explore.

My Favorite Spot on Campus

I enjoy spending time in the Student Union. There are pool tables and ping pong for when you need to unwind and take a quick study break.

Fun Facts About Me

I’ve visited eight countries so far and love collecting currency from each new destination. I’ve set a personal goal to explore at least one new country every year—it’s my favorite way to experience new cultures and build lasting memories.

Campus Resources I Believe are Especially Valuable for Students
