Biography

Dr. Sonia Tahereh Saheb is an assistant professor of Business Analytics and Information Systems at Menlo College. Before joining Menlo College, she worked an assistant professor at Tarbiat Modares University, Adjunct Lecturer at California State University, East Bay and Research Fellow at Hult International Business School. Some of the undergraduate and graduate courses taught include to Data Science with Python, Digital Business, Knowledge Management, Digital Marketing, Intro to MIS, Business Applications of Big Data, International Business, Digital Transformation in the Banking Sector, and Government, Business and Society. She founded and directed the MBA program in Digital Banking at TMU In 2017.

Before joining Menlo College, she also served as an international consultant of digital transformation, digital enterprise architecture and venture studio at various sections such as public services, banking and healthcare. She received multiple grants from industries to develop their digital transformation roadmap and strategy agenda or modify their enterprise architecture based on digital technologies.

She has published more than 25 scientific papers on topics related to ethical AI, digital health adoption, and digital ecosystems. Some of her works are published in journals such as Telematics and Informatics, Information Systems Frontiers, Sustainable Computing, Health and Technology and Technology in Society.

She founded and chaired the committee that launched the newly enhanced undergraduate program in AI and Analytics.

Her research interests include: Gen AI & Education; Cybersecurity of AI and Robots, Ethical AI in Healthcare, Digital Technology and User adoption
