Menlo College welcomes visiting students to our dynamic community during fall, spring, and summer terms. As a visiting student, you’ll become a part of our diverse campus while continuing your degree-seeking journey at your home institution.
Menlo College proudly accepts visiting students during the fall, spring, and summer terms. Our exchange programs also allow students from our partner institutions abroad to join us as visiting students for up to one year, enriching our campus community with diverse perspectives.
During the fall and spring terms, visiting students are typically degree-seeking individuals in good academic standing at their home institutions. They are admitted to Menlo College for one term only, and any coursework completed during this time will count toward their academic program at their home institution.
We encourage all students to consult with their academic advisors at their home institutions before enrolling at Menlo College to ensure a smooth transition.
To apply as a visiting student, please complete and submit the Menlo College Visiting Student Application. You may also need to provide an unofficial transcript to confirm that you’ve met any necessary course prerequisites.
Full-time visiting students who opt to live on campus will only be charged for on-campus housing costs, student health insurance, and applicable student fees. Please note that this arrangement applies only to the Fall and Spring Terms; Summer Terms are excluded. Part-time visiting students are charged per credit, in addition to applicable student fees.
Summer sessions at Menlo College have open enrollment, but visiting students must still submit an application, meet course prerequisites, and pay tuition and fees before registering. Once your application is approved, you’ll receive a notification to complete the Summer Registration Form. Summer visiting students are charged per credit, however, note that summer sessions offer a 50% tuition discount.
Visiting students can enroll for up to four semesters. If you choose to pursue a degree at Menlo College, you must submit a regular application, fulfill all admission requirements, and have your combined GPA from all institutions, including Menlo College, considered in the admission decision.
Visiting students are not eligible for financial aid at Menlo College. However, you may explore financial aid options at your home institution.
It’s crucial to confirm with your home institution that the credits earned at Menlo College will be accepted and transferable.
